Tracy uses roman blind kit for festoon blind

Tracy from Whitby the lovely seaside town in North Yorkshire and a long standing customer of ours wanted a festoon blind in her bedroom window. She measured her window. Someone had told her that they had used Velcro adhesive backed tape to use as  a heading and to secure the fesoon blind to the window frame. She found this didn’t work as well as she had hoped.

On discussion with us she decided to use one of our Deluxe Roman Blind Kits with Inhome Festoon/Austrian Blind Tape. The festoon blind tape is vertically applied to the fabric and the cords on the tape are pulled up to create ruffles. The blind cords are then slotted through the channels on the tape and secured at the bottom of the blind.

This worked very well as our Renaissance made headrails are of excellent quality and a great favourite with our customers. They have an aluminium body, pre-corded spools upto 3.5 metres and a white aluminium bottom bar. They also include the child safety items including labels, adjustable cord stops and a chain retention clip. When making blinds please follow child safety regulations.
